Dr. Kristine May Parcon, DPT
Kristine May Parcon, a Doctor of Physical Therapy, is part of the Medical Arts team, a Comprehensive Multi-specialty and Physical Therapy clinic serving patients at three various locations in New York City. Miss Parcon received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Utica College, and has been practicing physical therapy since 2005. Miss Kristine May performs Physical Therapy Evaluations and treats patients with health problems resulting from injury or disease. In order to achieve a successful Physical Therapy treatment plan, she assess joint motion, muscle strength and endurance, function of heart and lungs, and performance of activities required in daily living, among other factors. Miss Parcon diagnoses and treats various orthopedic conditions such as fractures, sprain, strain, whiplash injuries, arthritis, a job- related injuries. She also treats patients with neurological problems like Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Post- Stroke, as well as post-op surgeries of the knee, neck, back, ankle, etc. Successful treatments plans that Miss Parcon designs for her patients include the use of Therapeutic Exercises, Neuromuscular Re- education, as well as Manual Therapy, Modalities such as Ice, Heat, Electrical Stimulation and Taping Techniques, therapeutic exercises, cardiovascular endurance training, and training in daily living activities of as part of her Physical Therapy treatment.
